Regular ball valves in a line are used for switching (on/off) the medium flow. Ball valve is not a control valve in the sense that it can’t be maintained partially open during normal operations.
It is open or closed by a simple 90° rotation of the command stem, which can be done manually or actuated depending on the operating pressure and the valve bore.Regular ball valves.
